Zip tie the tie rod to my strut?

i was changing out my struts n springs and when i put them on i screwed up the tie rod end trying to get it off the strutt and now its impossible to get back on but i was able to just zip tie the tie rod to the strut and everything seems fine? i went 300 miles since then on the highway and town and never had a single problem are there any downsides to this? the ride seems smooth too
Zip tie the tie rod to my strut?
I don't know.

Would you consider going to prison when you kill someone a %26quot;downside%26quot;?
Zip tie the tie rod to my strut?
It'll work fine until it breaks - How do you feel about one of your wheels turning sideways at 70mph?
GET THAT TIE ROD END REPLACED - RIGHT NOW!!!

It will fall out when the zip lock breaks %26amp; your right wheel will turn right while your left wheel turns left This ALWAYS happens at high speed.

GET THAT TIE ROD END REPLACED RIGHT NOW!!!
As the others have stated, the zip tie WILL give out at the WORST possible time. The only 'upside' is you may not live to see the results.
