Once you get the lug nuts off spray all of the bolts you'll have to remove. Make sure the car is secured on jack stands. You can only do one side at a time. You will need a spring compressor. Do not attempt to take the strut/spring assembly apart without compressing the spring . Remove the entire strut/spring assembly. Put the spring compressor on. Compress the spring. Remove the nut and mount at the top. Replace the spring in the same position as it was on the old strut. You can get tools to help you remove and replace the nut on top but I use a rubber strap squeezed under a vise grip to hold the shaft. When tightening the new nut put oil on it or the vise grip and rubber strap might not be able to hold the shaft. After the nut is properly tightened remove the spring compressor and place the assembly back into the vehicle. I've never needed a wheel alignment with units that have the pinch bolt going through a tang on the strut but it is recommended. Go to the other side and repeat. You can get a pretty good idea of the job on youtube.
