well if they did their job right they would have check the whole front end out for problems which sounds like they didnt noise could be the mounts where struts ride on could be sway bar could be a few things id be back at that place asking questions

Look at the bushings first.
may be the clips on the brake pads, could have fallen out when they removed the tires to put on the struts.
sway bar bushings wear out and is a very common cause of %26quot;thunking%26quot; on vehicles look at the bushings and you can see if they are wore and deteriorated thats not a huge safety concern just irritating another possible cause could be tie rod ends or ball joints both of those are serious safety concerns as if you lose a tie rod u lose your ability to steer and if ball joint pops out your wheel will pass you up going down the road move wheel back and forth and watch/feel for looseness at the ends to check ball joints jack vehicle up and grab tire on the top and bottom and feel for movement best bet is to go to a tire shop most will give a free inspection and that is what i would recommend if your not mechanically inclined as front end issues can be dangerous
Year make and model helps. Your sway bar links are bad though. I sell them with the struts in most cases.
