What is the easiest way to change the air strut on a 92 lincoln continental?

im changing the rear|||The rear should have an air bag that will come free when the car is jacked and the air line is removed from the solenoid. I would replace the solenoid along with the air bag so just unscrew it from its mount, remove the air bag then pull the air line from the solenoid using the brass connector. It will be a lot easier than trying to pull it when the assembly is still on the car. Then reverse the process.
