I have a 01 corolla with 152000 miles in it and I just changed all four struts. Now, everytime I go on bumps, Im hearing clunking noises. My mechanic told me that I have to change my front strut mounts and my rear strut mounts. Another mechanic told me, it could be the front sway bar links. I checked the front sway bar links to see if its loose but there not. However, I do see lots of rust. Any suggestions? I%26#039;ll try to post pictures tomorrow.|||Read the post below. That procedure is the ONLY way to know for sure. Any pro mechanic worth their salt does it that way. Anything else is just guessing.
